Hello. I really love your products, but I've noticed that many of them are not non-comedogenic. Does this product cause acne and would it irritate sensitive skin?

Brush is good but product is orange Review by Catherine
  • [SET] Double Lasting Foundation SPF34 PA++ + Brush-Double_Fair
I want to start this by saying i have VERY pale skin. Its super hard for me to get any foundation in stores that isn't either orange or too dark. I saw a youtube review of this product where the girl got a shade darker than me and it looked super pale so i thought PERFECT!! Etude house is normally good at understanding pale shades as well so i bought it. I of course got the lightest shade and was so excited, but when i put it on it turned super orange. Its nice in the bottle, and on my hand but once it oxidizes, it goes straight snookie. Ive tried a couple things to fix it but nothing works. I wish I had just saved my money. Im giving it 2 instead of 1 stars because i like the brush, its hard to get used to but when i figured it out i started using it for my other slightly orange but not close to as bad foundations. PS i think what really makes me mad is just that this foundation photo looks much lighter than the etude house bb cream im currently using but its SOOO MUCH more orange. (Posted on 6/19/2016)
The best foundation I've tried yet! Review by Aleks
  • [SET] Double Lasting Foundation SPF34 PA++ + Brush-Double_Sand
I got this set for 21.60$ it was a bargain when you look at the price of the both items! Either way I'll start review the items

The brush:
The brush isn't amazing, it's unique but not that good. It leaves streak marks but if you tap it like a puff on your face it won't leave any.

The foundation:
The foundation is fairly dark, I've seen reviews and swatches and the colour sand seemed like it matched. Just so you know I have pale skin with an olive/neutral undertone. At first it seems dark but after some time the colour gets weaker?? How can I say it get lighter, I hope you know what I mean. I use one drop of the foundation all over my face, it gives me a nice colour and glow even though I apply powder. It feels light on the face and the formula is watery. It lasts really long! I must say I really wish they had some lighter colours because some of them are soo pink or yellow or just too dark. It has good coverage but I don't apply too much since it's a but dark and it will look a bit cakes on me, since I have dry skin but It is a unique foundation and I think that you should give it a try.

Good job Etude house! Just get more colour variations, improve the brush and it will be amazing! (Posted on 5/3/2016)
Amazing Review by Jimin
  • [SET] Double Lasting Foundation SPF34 PA++ + Brush-Double_Fair
I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and it is amazing on my skin. I found it is more suited to my skin tone and doesn't come off my face as much as my previous foundation. When I slide my finger over my face lightly to see if a lot of foundation comes off, hardly any does! Expect for the problem area of my nose but that was expected and where my face can get the most oily

The only con I have with this purchase is the brush, it feels a little harsh on my face. When I've used it I've had to dab it because anything else feels too harsh on my face. This brush is the only reason I said 4 stars not 5. Just buy the foundation by itself. (Posted on 4/30/2016)
Brush is useless; product is fairly pale Review by jtani
  • [SET] Double Lasting Foundation SPF34 PA++ + Brush-Double_Sand
I'm glad I got this set when there was a promotion for a free brush, because paying for such a lousy brush would have really upset me... Seriously, don't waste money on getting the brush, it's uncomfortably stiff and drags over your skin and even feels a little pokey/scratchy. You can get similar brushes off eBay direct from China that feel the same.

As for the foundation itself, the coverage is about medium and buildable. The consistency is very thin, almost watery, so it's easy to pump out too much. I set my face with powder and a primer before application, and the foundation lasts pretty much all day (except in the areas that always wear off first, like around my nostrils and lips). Typically I'm a "shade 2" in most Korean foundations that offer only 3 shades, but the sand is far too pale for me, and looking at the swatches again now, I feel like even the tan may still be slightly too light. Right now I'm mixing in other foundations I have to darken it, otherwise I look like I'm trying way too hard with appearing paler than I am...

So in sum, skip the brush, and unless you're really pale, I'd consider going down a shade (and really scrutinize the swatches/reviews you see online to make sure you're getting the right match!). (Posted on 4/19/2016)
